The idea for the arts diary came from Nani Croze, the renowned glass artist and champion of contemporary Kenyan art. Nani put together a volunteer group of artist and art lovers who have continually assisted in the selection of art and artists that are featured in each edition.<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"41n8r-0-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"Draftail-block--unstyled \" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7b42q\" data-offset-key=\"hs22e-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"hs22e-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"hs22e-0-0\">Since its inception in 2011, the diary has been committed to showcasing up-and-coming young Kenyan artists and established artists as well. When the team embarked on producing the first Kenya Arts Diary, they knew that a wealth of artistic talent existed in Kenya. Since then, the diary has profiled and acted as a springboard for nearly 700 different artists, many of whom are now considered established professionals whose art is prized both among local and international collectors.<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"hs22e-0-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"Draftail-block--unstyled \" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7b42q\" data-offset-key=\"awfqq-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"awfqq-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"awfqq-0-0\">The 2020 edition reflects the rapid growth of the Kenya art scene, which is also visible in the proliferation of galleries that exhibit African Art.<\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"awfqq-0-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"Draftail-block--unstyled \" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7b42q\" data-offset-key=\"vg6ld-0-0\">\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"vg6ld-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"vg6ld-0-0\">Red Lands Roses has for some years supported the Kenya Arts Diary team through purchase of their customized diaries.
