Kianda School is open to all students who qualify regardless of where they come from.  The intake is done once a year for Primary and Secondary.  Primary intake is usually done in July and Secondary in October. The school is open for transfer students depending on the vacancies available.

The procedure for applying is standard for all classes.

• Parent write an application letter
• A copy of the girl’s birth certificate
• Her latest school report
• A recommendation letter from her head teacher
• Fill in an application form that is online.
• Pay an application fee of KShs 2000/- when brining the application documents

This procedure may change and parents may be apple to apply online.  Details will follow once the portal has been established.

Those who have successfully applied will be invited for an entrance test or assessment at a later date.

After the test, those who are shortlisted are called for an oral interview together with their parents.  The main purpose of the interview is to assess if the student and parents will fit in with the school regulations.
